Fees are payable quarterly. Choose a campus to see what you pay each term, the extra costs to plan for, and how to pay.
Payment policy at a glance
When and how to pay
Fees are payable quarterly. The balance for each quarter must be paid by the end of the second month of the term.
The school fund is paid at the beginning of each term.
No cash is accepted at school. Pay into the FNB account and use the learner's name and surname as the reference. Bring the deposit slip as proof.
Statements and communication
A monthly statement is handed to your child on or before the 15th of each month. If your child does not live with you, ask the clerks to email it.
Tell the school when your contact details change. The school uses SMS and phone calls to reach parents.
Overdue accounts
The school may exclude learners from class or bar them from writing exams when fees are in arrears.
No reports or transfer letters are issued while fees are in arrears.
A learner in arrears may not take part in school trips. Money already paid for the trip is put towards school fees.
Third-party payers
The parent or guardian remains the principal debtor, even when someone else pays.
If a third party will pay, give the school proof before the end of February. It must be on the payer's letterhead and show the amounts and expected dates.
The school can supply a standard fee letter and reasonable supporting documents on request.
Payment arrangements
Arrangements are made only in dire circumstances, at the discretion of management, and always in writing.
An arrangement is binding once both parties agree and the Director approves it. If it is not honoured, the full balance becomes due immediately.
The school does not discuss fees by phone. Make an appointment with the administrator or clerk.
Camps, trips and damage
Camps, holiday lessons, excursions and sports events are not covered by school fees and are paid in advance. The school informs parents by letter or newsletter.
Trip money is paid into the school account.
Damage to school property may be charged to the learner's account. If the person responsible is not identified, the cost is divided between the learners involved.
Cancellation and refunds
The enrolment contract is binding for the full academic year.
If a learner absconds, is expelled for breaking school rules, or is excluded from class because of unpaid fees, the parent remains liable for the full year's fees.
No part of the fees is waived or refundable for any reason, including illness. The application fee is non-refundable.
Parents must give the real reason for transferring from another school. The school may refuse admission or cancel the contract if it is untrue.
Suspension for non-payment
The school may suspend or expel a learner when fees are unpaid, after adequate warning.
Suspended learners may not be on school property or take part in school activities. Where possible, work is sent home and must be completed on return.
A suspended Matric learner may come to school only to complete portfolio assessments, in a separate venue, and then leaves the premises.
Parent declaration
The parent or guardian is responsible for the account, even when a third party pays.
It is the parent's job to keep the school's contact details up to date.
The school may take legal steps to recover money owed without further notice, and the parent is liable for the costs.
Parents sign the fee policy each year to confirm they have read, understood and accepted it.
This is a summary. The complete policy is signed by the parent or guardian each year.
